We wanted our celebration to truly reflect the city's vibe while staying loyal to our iconic Originals lineup. So, we teamed up with local Vancouver designer Chairman Ting, who put his spin on five classic franchise silhouettes—Samba, Gazelle, Superstar, Forum, and Nizza—each inspired by a distinct neighbourhood in Vancouver. During the grand reopening weekend, customers had the chance to snag one of these exclusive kicks designed by Chairman Ting and score some custom branded merch as a bonus. The highlight? A live design session in-store where consumers got to see Chairman Ting at work on one of the designs. Our designs made waves, winning big at two prestigious awards shows—the Advertising Illustration Series Award of Excellence by Communication Arts and the Arts Illustration Award for Advertising Illustration Series by Applied Arts Magazine.
